The aim of this session is to help you to start to lose weight and to increase your confidence and self-esteem and self-worth.
How to use this weight loss and confidence hypnotherapy session:
Ideally aim to listen to this session every day for at least 7 days, and then whenever you wish depending on your personal circumstances.
Even if you drift off to sleep whilst listening to this session, or drift in and out of sleep whilst listening to this session, your mind will still absorb some of the positive weight loss suggestions while you sleep.

Sometimes problems with weight can be related to a low level of confidence or self-esteem or self-worth.
For example, sometimes we use food for comfort because we do not like ourselves, or we think we do not deserve better. Or our confidence level is so low we overeat just to feel ok again.
So by increasing your confidence and your self-esteem and your self-worth it can reduce the emotional reasons why you might overeat or comfort eat in the first place. This can help make losing weight easier for you.
The second way this hypnotherapy session can help you lose weight:
As well as increasing your confidence and self-esteem and self-worth, there are also other suggestions in this session to help you lose weight. For example:
- by helping you to be more in control around food,
- and to lose weight by eating less,
- and focusing on stopping eating when that sensation of hunger goes from your stomach,
- and to enjoy eating healthier foods.

It can help you to start to adopt healthy eating habits that you would like to have. It can make the whole process easier for you, but not easy.
A brief case study – A lady who lost 8 stone (112 pounds) in weight
This is a brief description of a lady who came to see me for weight loss. I describe her story here with her permission.
She came to seem me in 2009 wanting to lose weight. She had tried all the usual diets etc. She was desperate to lose weight. At the time, she wanted to have weight loss surgery – the gastric band operation.
Anyway, she came to see me instead of having surgery. We did 8 sessions over 8 weeks, then a further 4 sessions over the following 2 years. Over this time, she has lost 8 stone (112 pounds or 50kg) in weight.
Her relationship with food has changed.
She has maintained her weight loss despite many other stresses in her life.
