Peak to Peak Breathing
This is a simple yet very effective method to feel relaxed and calm. It is a meditative form of breathing.
You breathe SLOWLY and DEEPLY all the way in. To the peak of your in-breath. And then, without pausing, you SLOWLY and DEEPLY breathe all the way out, to the peak of your out-breath. And then, without pausing, continue the cycle.
As a way to make sure you are breathing deeply, put your hand on your abdomen (tummy), and feel your hand move in and out as you breathe in and out.
Aim to breathe SLOWLY and DEEPLY from a peak in-breath to a peak out-breath, with no pauses at either peak.
It is a relaxing, calming and meditative form of breathing. I hope you enjoy using it.
