Anxiety to Calmness
Aim of this session
A guided meditation to help guide you from anxiety to calmness.
There are 2 versions of this session:
- Daytime full version
- Night-time sleep version (which is the version above)
The aim of both versions is to reduce your anxiety in this present moment, and also to help reduce your general level of anxiety in the future.
The first part of the sleep version is the same as the daytime full version, which is then followed by suggestions for relaxation and drifting into sleep. Even as you drift into sleep whilst listening to the session, you will still absorb some of the positive suggestions from the session.
There is also a variety of different types of background music, plus a voice only option. This is so you can use whichever type of background music that you prefer to use, or with the voice only option, you can just listen to the words on their own, or use your own type of background music.
How to use
In general, the more you use this session, the more benefit you will receive from it.
Use whichever version, either the daytime version, or night-time sleep version, that fits best into your normal day.
The sleep version can also help overcome sleep difficulties and insomnia.
In general, aim to use the session daily for 1 week, then 3 times a week for another 3 weeks. Or, you can use it as often as you want to, depending on your own personal circumstances.
